Rachel Hartstein, B.Sc., Lic.Ac. - Rachel Hartstein, B.Sc., Lic.Ac.

Rachel Hartstein is an acupuncturist licensed in both Massachusetts and New York, and has a B.Sc. in Holistic Health from Lesley University. In 1990, Rachel awakened to her path as a healer and began her studies in Energy Medicine, Western Herbology, and Nutrition. In 1993 she enrolled at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, where she completed a Master’s level study of Acupuncture. Rachel was an intern at the largest public hospital in Guangzhou, China; has completed extensive post-graduate studies of Japanese acupuncture techniques in the U.S. and in Japan; and learned traditional Balinese healing from the balian (shaman) and acupuncturist Chokorda Rai. In addition to many years experience in dance and martial arts, Rachel draws a deep understanding of the body from her practice of yoga. A past faculty member in both the Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture departments at New England School of Acupuncture, she has for many years taught gentle, non-insertive acupuncture and pediatric acupuncture at the post-graduate level.
